FHE Oscars Night

Our ward's annual Oscar's night was last night, and I am so excited to announce that my group won BEST PICTURE for our spoof of The Hunger Games, called "The Dating Games"! I'm so happy we went with that idea, because none of the boys in my group had even read it but were willing anyways cause they thought the concept was hilarious.

We had the idea to show a futuristic Provo, but not really cause its actually the truth of the present! But anyways, instead of secretly filming people in our complex randomly, we actually had a ward nerd party that weekend and it was PERFECT, it just showed how we do such awkward stuff in Provo, that probably doesn't happen much outside the bubble. So that's the explanation for the beginning.

Almost everyone helped at some point and it really helped our FHE group unite. A TON of hours went into this filming and editing, and we probably had another good ten minutes of footage, it was hard to cut it down. But the final product is priceless, I hope you enjoy! (Pictures will come later of the actual party that I was in charge of decorations for! Think the infamous Hollywood sign, and everyone dressed glamorous...)

This was directed by a girl I visit teach, and she basically specializes in classic movies so its awesome! Also, the main guy was my date from last semester, and he did a great job!

This is a spoof of guy on a buffalo.The best part is when they just suprise random students on campus. Plus these are my FHE bros from last semester.
