Ok, it's been forever but i'll will try to catch you up. Cub Scout Camp. I can say thankfully somehow i survived and that it was an experience that i like to say that i had but could have lived without. I ended up with dark gray paint on my shirt from one of the stupidest crafts and i don't even remember how it got on there. I was the only person willing to play kickball with 3 of my boys. It was them vs me. I chased after every ball at the hottest part of the day. But yet it was cute cause i told them to show me their game face and they growled and stuff, and they liked to do it every time they got up to kick. They kept beggin me to pitch just "one more" like 10 times. And the ending water fight/ amazing watermelon slices at the end of the week was actually fun. I pretended with Christopher that we had to "sneak around" everybody and refill water in our guns or get watermelon. Oh and there was a cop that talked to the kids about strangers but then started saying that they wouldnt learn anything and directed the talk on getting raped and abducted to us teenage staff.Akward... Oh and that sucked that i worked with 2 15 yr old girls from west columbia all week. They were nice...but treated me funny; i didnt like them too much. Plus they flirted with the other 15 yr old boy scouts and one of their boyfriends came to help in the middle of the week too.Annoying...We also had problems with a kid always dissappearing. Well it' too much to type, if you wanna know more just ask.
My last year as a youth at girls camp. Awesome campsite. We had tents already set up, air conditioned mess hall, and a water slide at the pool. My camera and other various items are now gone. Stolen or robbed by a coon, I may never know. I was lucky my leaders found any of that my stuff strewn across a field. Bad loss for the camera though. So sorry no pictures of any of this yet. I will have to borrow from other people. Spiritually it was good, I was the last one to bare my testimony cause: a) i was conducting b) im dramatic like that and need closure. Our theme was putting on the whole armor of God, and once again I helped create Liahona night. A badside of this (and Jen can testify to this to) the food sucked! It was weird. We even had Sister Chaka ask the servers "what is this" to some soupy orange stuff. And they said "that's cheese. don't worry you're not the first to ask." im pretty sure it was that powdered cheese stuff. gross.Overall, Im sad it's done, but I actually do feel done with it, I did my time and it was good memories.
Well after camp I went straight over with Jen and her sister Natalie to Jon's apartment where we halped him move. That was an adventure with opening gates and carrying furniture across parking lots. Then we went to the airport to catch out flight to virginia. Jon and I were waiting to get our luggage checked when a guy collaspsed right next to us in a big seizure! It was scary, his sister was all crying and saying "somebody help him!" and we had the airport med people come and calm him down and take him away. Weird. And then we got free coke floats from southwest people and they were delicious from a week of camping. We were so excited. Themn Jen and I found a wedding magazine and we bought food for the plane and the lady at the checkout was like" you gettin married? oh thats a beautiful ring." she was so nice. and we tried to show her that jon was the lucky guy but he was all "what? we need to go...what? oh, thank you"haha.
so that's all I will post for now.
